Sources and Basins

SEM Mineral Water comes both from natural springs and drilled wells.
 
The Group holds four Mineral Water production licenses:
 
the license for the spring called “Ospitale", located in the Municipality of Fanano (MO), which it has held since its constitution.  The license was last renewed in July, 2010, for a duration of 15 years, starting from April 9th, 2009, expiring on April 8th, 2024. As part of this license, the Mineral Water called “Monte Cimone” was recognised by the ministerial decree of July 29th, 1987;
 
The license for the spring called “Monte Pizzarotta Fonte Santa Lucia",located in the Municipality of Busana (RE), which is held by Nuova S.A.MI.CER., expiring on March 9th, 2015. As part of this license, the Mineral Water called “Fonte Ventasso” (formerly “Ventasso”) and “Fonte Lieta” (formerly “Lieta”) by the ministerial decrees, respectively, of [July 29th, 1968] and July 6th, 1994;
 
The license for the spring called “Flaminia”, located in the Municipality of Nocera Umbra (PG), which was granted to Gestione Acque Minerali S.r.l. on March 11th, 1997, for a duration of 30 years (expiring on March 10th, 2027).  As part of this license, the Natural Mineral Water called “Flaminia” was recognised by the ministerial decree of [ ],1976. By the managerial decision No.  510 of November 18th, 1998, following the change of the company name of “Gestione Acque Minerali s.r.l.” to “Nocera Umbra Fonti Storiche S.p.A.”, attribution of the license was changed and is currently held by Nocera Umbra Fonti Storiche S.p.A.
 
The license for the spring called “Angelica”, located in the Municipality of Nocera Umbra (PG), which was granted to Gestione Acque Minerali S.r.l. on March 11th, 1997, for a duration of 30 years (expiring on March 10th, 2027). As part of this license, the Mineral Water called “Angelica” was recognised by the ministerial decree of September 23rd, 1924. By the managerial decision No. 509 of November 18th, 1998, following the change of the company name of “Gestione Acque Minerali s.r.l.” to “Nocera Umbra Fonti Storiche S.p.A.”, attribution of the license was changed and is currently held by Nocera Umbra Fonti Storiche S.p.A.
 
The license under (i) and (ii) were granted in accordance with Regional Law  August 17th, 1988, No. 32 (analysed in Paragraph 6.5.6) and are therefore subject to the regulations contained in it, the license under (iii) and (iv) were issued by force of Regional Law  of November 11th, 1987, no. 48, later repealed and replaced by Regional Law  December 22nd, 2008, no. 22 (analysed in Paragraph 6.5.7). Since the new regulatory measures are not applicable to the license previously in force, the license in questions continue to be regulated by the law in force at the time they were stipulated.
